Dos Picos Camping Trip, January 27-28, 2007

What: Dos Picos Camping Trip

Compass hike, pioneering, nature walk, woods tools, FUN!

Place: Dos Picos Regional Park. THOMAS GUIDE: page 1171, H-5.

Directions: East on Scripps Poway Parkway, then left/north on Hiway 67. Turn right/south on Mussey Grade Road for one mile. Then turn on right (west) on Dos Picos Park Road, and follow this one mile to the campground park entrance (on your left, past the day use area). We need to check in with the Ranger before we set up in the Group/Youth site. Wish Ranger Kyle “Happy Birthday!”

Date: January 27-28, 2007.

Meet At: Saturday, Jan. 27th, 8 AM, at Scripps Ranch Community Park.

Return: Scouts returned home around noon on Sunday, Jan. 28th

Wear: Class A shirt for travel, bring any Class B shirt for campout.
